For you, and every tiny thing that you do

And laughed away our troubles armed with a drink

Thanks for the times that we chilled out in the yard
Talking, laughing, drinking till sleep we're fighting hard
Thanks for being there, whether you're near of far
For those texts that say : 'just want to see how you are'

Whether I've known you forever or not for too long
Your presence is felt, and the feeling is strong
And I feel so lucky I've found a friend in you
